Ghost!

On the Creative Thinking class today, we got to make ghost costumes using some materials. We were grouped into 5 groups and above you can see the members of my group. There's me, Yee Khai, Ellie, and Alen. Alen wanted to be the model, so we made him the model.
The story is that we were stranded on Spooky Island and we were all killed but one, so the one that was still alive should disguise him/her-self to be a ghost. Us that already dead were spirits that help his/her do the disguise.
The materials that we were using are: egg tray, plastic rope, trash bag, cellophane paper, and masking tape. We also had requirements to be fulfilled; there should be no eyes on the face, there should be three fingers, should have long hair, should be 50% covered with black tar (trash bag), and might have egg tray. We have one hour and we have to do it in the dark (lighting came from the tinted window, we were allowed to use the flash in our phone actually but we didn't do that haha). The teacher also played some scary songs to bring up the mood. On the picture above you can see what we came up with. Hairy Knight with Bra-Shaped Armor! (The bra is supposed to be the eyes lol)

Hari Raya

Happy Hari Raya!

I know it's already too late but whatever.

Hari Raya was the day I expected the most, because my family were coming to Singapore! Not my parents though. My first ever hari raya without my parents (and my brother). I initially wanted to go home but the holiday wasn't that long, and my aunt said that they were coming to Singapore to have a short getaway and also to spend hari raya together with me. So I spent my hari raya with my grandparent, my uncle, my aunt, and my cousins, they were staying for 3 days.

On the first day of hari raya, we went to sholat Ied at Al-Falah Mosque, which was across Paragon shopping mall in Orchard Road. There's a must-eat food for hari raya, which is  "Lontong", but I think it would be kind of hard to find Lontong, so my aunt decided to bring Lontong all the way from Indonesia, along with its soup, crackers, and beef rendang. Oh my, it tasted so good I could die. We ate Lontong twice that day.

I spent another 2 days with them, staying at the hotel with them. We were given THR (or in another word, angpao) and we shopped a lot.
